Linda Marie Byrd (Shiver) Rollin

Linda Byrd Rollin, age 81, a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at her residence with her devoted daughters by her side. She was retired from the Bay Minette Gas Mart where she spent the past 10 years of her life with her beloved friends and customers. She will be remembered for the commitment she made to them.

She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia (Ronnie) Smith of Stapleton, AL, Kellie (Randall) Phillips of Stapleton, AL and Shellie Byrd Morris of Bay Minette, AL; three granddaughters, Christi Wall, Jennifer Caraway and Kendra Phillips; six grandsons, Scotty Byrd, Randy Thompson, Jr., Dyson Byrd, Kheyton Byrd, Shawn Sutherland and Randy Phillips; twenty-four great grandkids; her bonus children, Charles Ray Wilson, Rebecca Odom, Marilyn Pursell and Margie Simmons and a village of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Patrick Byrd, Sr. and Charles Wayne Rollin; her son, Richard Partick Byrd, Jr.; her parents, Robert James Lester Shiver, Addie Bell Rackard Shiver and Daisy May Hadley Shiver; her grandchildren, Christopher Blake Smith, Steven Christopher Byrd and Addyson Nicole Thomspon and her siblings, Willie Shiver, Lester Shiver, James David Shiver and Betty Jean Humphrey.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Byrd, Randy Thompson, Jr., Dyson Byrd, Kheyton Byrd, Shawn Sutherland and Randy Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Wall and Quence Caraway.
