Linda Louise (Fry) Gates

Linda Louise Fry Gates, age 80, born in Goodland, KS and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Friday, February 13, 2026 at Thomas Hospital. She was a retired receptionist at Best Western.

She is survived by one son, William (Marion) Gates of TN; three daughters, Shawn (Russell) Strasser of Bay Minette, AL, Cindy (Ed) Griffin of Stockton, AL and LouAnn (Rodney) Strasser of Daphne, AL; one brother, Fred (Sandy) Fry of SC; two sisters, Emilie McAlister and Karen (Truman) Haynes both of MO; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Ina Epperson Fry and her siblings, Donald Fry, Orval Fry, Tommy Fry, Colleen Barber and Arlene Henderson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Prince officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Gates, Blake Gates, Michael Griffin, Baylor Brady, Paul Strasser and Jeff Gates.
