LeRoy Scarbrough

Bennie LeRoy Scarbrough, age 81, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, February 13, 2026. He retired from APT where he was a broadcasting technician.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan Scarbrough of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Bennie Jo Scarbrough of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, LeAnn (Phil) Bouldrey of Spanish Fort, AL three grandchildren, Rebecca (William) Baker of Daphne, AL, Maria (Nathan) Straitiff of IL and LaShea (Will) Ellis of Bay Minette, AL; seven great grandchildren and numerous friends and other family.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Estelle Coaker and Donnell Phillips.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Michael Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jimbo Lee, Leo Miller, James “Bo” Hardeman, Thomas Sprinkle, Charles Styron, Ashley Hayward, Will Ellis and Michael Bunkley. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Dorriety, Leo Goidouras, Randy Harrelson and Caleb Sutherland.
