Kay Thomley Stewart, age 82, born in Perdido, AL to Hilary L. Thomley and Wilma McGill Thomley, died Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Springhill Senior Residence. Kay was the youngest of four daughters. She was an ordained minister, loved to travel and spent her life sharing her love of her Lord and Savior. She loved to play the piano and sing praises to Jesus.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Mark) Patrick and Karen Lynn Fortenberry; grandchildren, Ashley (Gustavo) Estrada, Emily Smith, Jacob Standorf, Amanda (Carlos) Carrillo, Holly (Anthony) Lee, Cristianna Patrick and Hayley (Michael) Redd; great grandchildren, Jordan (Sarah) Barron, Matteo Estrada, Sofia Estrada, Lendon Smith, Carlin Carrillo, Tucker Singleton, Gabriella Carrillo, Romina Carrillo, Titus Lee, Atlas Lee, Orion Lee, Aiden Redd, Natalie Redd, Jessee Redd; two great great grandchildren, Benjamin and Laken and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Lewis Stewart; her parents; and her sisters, Glenys Mason, Carolyn Burch and Rita White. All four sisters were always up to something and having a lot of fun.
Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Perdido Baptist Cemetery with Mark Patrick officiating.
