Kathryn Elizabeth (Day) Wilson

Kathryn Elizabeth Day Wilson, age 61, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Mobile Infirmary.  She spent many happy years as a secretary for C&J used cars and then enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren after retiring. 

She is survived by her children, James Lester (Courtney) Shiver of Royse City, TX, Brandi Shiver (William) Vess of Midlothian, TX and Nathan Allen (Elizabeth) Shiver of Pine Grove; her mother, Sylvia Jean Carroll Day of Pine Grove; two brothers, James David (Jeannie) Day of Robertsdale, AL and Daniel Harlan Day of Pine Grove; grandchildren, Oliver Earl Vess, Charles William Vess, Temperance Elizabeth Shiver, Gideon James Lavon Shiver and Danielle Freyja Marie Shiver

She was preceded in death by her father, James Alton “Jimmy” Day.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Church with Reverend Henry Wilson officiating.

Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Liver Foundation.
