Justin Tyler Miller, age 34, passed away on January 20, 2026, in Miami, Florida.
Justin was born on October 8, 1991, in Fairhope, Alabama, and was a lifelong resident of Bay Minette, Alabama. He was a 2010 graduate of Baldwin County High School, where he proudly played both JV and varsity baseball. Justin had a deep love for the outdoors and could most often be found hunting or fishing. Known for his easygoing nature and sense of humor, he was voted “Most Likely to Be Late” in high school—a title he carried with him throughout life. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. Justin was a member of City Hope Church and was a believer in God.
Justin is survived by his loving wife, Chandler Miller; his daughter, Collins Grace Miller; his stepson, Pacen John Lee Jackson; his parents, Kendall and Teri Miller; his brother, Tucker Miller (Emma); his sister, Kendall Miller (Will); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl E. Miller Jr. and Patsy Sasser Miller, and Glen R. King and Joyce M. King.
Justin was born with Cystic Fibrosis and received the ultimate gift of life when he underwent a double lung transplant on February 14, 2023. His journey was one of strength, perseverance, and gratitude, and his life touched more people than he ever knew.
Visitation will be held on January 31, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bay Minette, Alabama, officiated by Dr. Chip Starnes and Reverend Mark Brown. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley, Al.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Rogers, John Dooley, Christopher Andreoli, Trace Zarr, Hunter Smith and Kyle Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at CFF.org/donate, and encourages everyone to consider becoming an organ donor.
Justin will be remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, his faith, and the joy he brought to those around him.
