Julia Lynne Vernor

Julia Lynne Vernor, age 62, born in Waco, TX and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Sunday, May 8, 2022 at SAAD’s Hospice in Mobile. She was a valued employee at DuPont/FMC plant in Axis for 35 years as a Senior Electrical Designer. She was a dedicated member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary of Bay Minette Post #3568 where she held the esteemed positions of Secretary and Treasure for several years. She was the President of District 8. On the state level she served as Junior Vice President.

She is survived by two sons, David Ray (Crystal) Clemmons of Bay Minette, AL and Samuel Lee Vernor of Bay Minette, AL; three brothers, David Glenn (Pam) Vernor of Loxley, AL, Timothy Lee (Amy) Vernor of Loxley, AL and Gregory Paul (Andrea) Vernor of Silverhill, AL; one granddaughter, Brianna Ashli Lipford Clemmons of Bay Minette, AL; stepbrother, Jeff (Lynn) Gargus and stepsister, Tammy Gargus.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Reverend J.L. and Faye Vernor and her mother and stepfather, Pat and Tommy Gargus.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Collective Mannor, 34025 US Highway 31, Spanish Fort, AL 36527. Refreshments will be available.
