Juanita (Pope) Owens

Agnes Juanita Pope Owens, age 93, born in Bolling, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Tuesday, July 2, 2024. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, Herman Miles (Chris Lynn) Owens of Friendswood, TX, Huey Lee Owens of Pine Grove, Alvin Mike (Donna) Owens of Pine Grove and Allen Mitchell (Connie) Owens of Pine Grove’ two daughters, Frances Gail (Randy) Rieben of Crossroads and Teresa Ann (Leighton) Mathis of Pine Grove; two brothers, Charles Pope of Piedmont, AL and Glen Pope pf Greenville, AL; two sisters, Jeanette Gandy of Honoraville, AL and Sally Duke of Greenville, AL; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby Owens; a son and daughter-in-law, Irby Wayne and Shirley Owens; a sister, Carolyn McNair and a brother, Ronnie Pope.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Blair officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Mical Owens, Hunter Roberts, Lucas Roberts, Hayden Owens, Aiden Owens and Alex Owens.
