Joyce (Redmond) Giadrosich

Joyce Redmond Giadrosich, 78, of Bay Minette, AL, passed away after a brief illness on December 10, 2024.

Joyce was born April 26, 1946, to Grover and Emma (Roberts) Redmond in Bay Minette, AL.  Joyce worked for many years at Manor Slacks after graduating from Baldwin County High School. Joyce retired from the Baldwin County Board of Education in 2014, where she worked as a cafeteria manager at Bay Minette Elementary School.

Joyce’s favorite past times were trips to the casino, any casino, and time with her family.  Joyce’s greatest accomplishment is raising her three children.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Emma Redmond, brothers Dewey “Buddy” Redmond and Martin Redmond, and her sister Janice Redmond Milstid. Joyce is survived by her husband of 30 years Robert “Bobby” Giadrosich, brother Wesley Redmond of Bay Minette, brother James Redmond (Lorna) Atmore, AL, sister Delores Redmond Crosby of Bay Minette, AL, son Chester “Chet” Vronka (Elsa) of Round Rock, TX, son Michael “Mikie” Vronka (Heather) of Pensacola, FL, daughter Jennifer Morrow of Hutto, TX, stepson Robbie Giadrosich (Mary) of Mobile, AL, stepdaughters Audrey ”Suzi” Barnett (Gary) of Saraland, AL, and Patricia “Ryan” Keefer (David) of Georgia, multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Bobby and Joyce’s grandson, Levi Milstead, for always being there when they needed him.

Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Redmond, James Redmond, Charles “Tony" Vronka, and Michael Morrow.

Pallbearers are Levi Milstead, Ben Vronka, Caleb Blackman, Rocky Langham Jr., Damian Wilson, and Alex Owens.

The family will receive friends on December 12, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:30pm at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30pm with the Rev Jim Burnett officiating.  Interment will follow at the Guys Chapel Cemetery in Rabun.
