Jonathan "Jon" David Anderson

Reverend Jonathan David “Jon” Anderson, age 52, born in Eunice, NM and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Thursday, November 27, 2025 at University Hospital. He was the Minister at Pine Grove Holiness Church.

He is survived by his wife, LaTricia Jannette Smith Anderson of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Samuel (Sarah) Anderson of Glenwood, AR, Levi (Hannah) Anderson of Atmore, AL, LaRyssa (Kenvor) Burnett of Cunningham, KY, Danielle (Trayton) Burnett of Melber, KY, A’Leah (Ethan) Cowen of Pauls Valley, OK and Parker Anderson of Bay Mineette, AL; his father, Gerald Chester Anderson of Sallisaw, OK; three sisters, Becky (Ronnie) Clemmer of Eunice, NM, Dorcas (Lee) Thornell of Sallisaw, OK and Damaris (Ken) Hayles of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Brooke, Clay, Claire, River, Cash, Rayla, Gabby, Daisy and Tatum and his bonus grandchild, Cali.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Lou Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bay Minette with Bro. Aaron Alexander, Bro. Eric Blankenship, Bro. Aaron Burnett, Bro. Jeremy Reed, Bro. Danny Lafferty, Bro. Chester Anderson, Bro. Johnny Don Lee and Bro Nathanial Roach. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 1, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Burnett, Norman Smiley, Travis Stevenson, Doug High, Ross Ryland, Brent Smith, Wes Wolf and Marcus Burnett. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Pine Grove Holiness Church.
