Johnny Ray Allen

Johnny Ray Allen, age 71, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, June 27, 2026 at his residence. He retired after 32 years as an oil refinery assistant manager.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Miriam Allen of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Johnny (Jill) Allen of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Sara (Chuck) Taylor of Hillsboro, AL; five sisters, Debra (Mark) Steadham of Spanish Fort, AL, Linda Barks of Spanish Fort, AL, Brenda England of Spanish Fort, AL, Teresa (David) Tapscott of Bay Minette, AL and Patricia (Gary) Boyington of Elberta, AL; four grandchildren, Morgan Epperson, Bryce Epersin, Trey Allen and Mary Grace Allen and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dianh Hartsell.

Graveside services and burial will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with Reverend Otis Thames officiating.

Pallbearers will be Randy Stewart, Mike Buckley, Trey Allen, Bryce Epperson, John Epperson and Bill Paulson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stockton First Baptist Church, 52700 State Highway 59, Stockton, AL 36579.
