John Calvin Goram, age 84, a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, June 13, 2026 at North Baldwin Infirmary. He managed the Phillips 66 Gas Station in Stapleton around 30 years and also was a machine operator at Standard Furniture.
He is survived by four daughters, Sharon (B.J.) Palmer of Bay Minette, AL, Beth (Ray) Long of Bay Minette, AL, Karen (Dana) Giordano of Bay Minette, AL and Ellen (David) Maraman of Gateswood; one sister, Mildred Roberts of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Bryan Palmer, Jene Palmer, Brandon Palmer, Devon Long, Marlee Bailey, Mary Beth Mosley, Jessica Mosley and Kayla Giordano; ten great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kayden, Benjamin, Brock, Willow, River, Raymie, Jamie, Calvin and Tucker and one great great granddaughter, Hazleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie Ruth Goram Gill and William Henry “Buck” Goram; his wife, Margaret Louise Goram; a great granddaughter, Katelyn Palmer and three brothers, Jackson Goram, Robert Goram and James Donald Goram.
Graveside services and burial will be held Monday, June 15, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Chaplain Dan Criswell officiating.
