Joe Richard Minter

Joe Richard Minter, age 65, born in Mobile AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Thomas Hospital. He was a district manager for Badcock Corporation.

He is survived by his wife, Debra L. “Debbie” Kilgore Minter of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Jessie Minter (Thomas) Jones of Friendswood, TX, Joshua Higgins of Tanner, AL, Bradley Higgins of Tanner, AL and Joseph (Tina) Higgins of Madison, AL; one sister, Paula (Joseph) Cardwell of Wetumpka, AL; stepfather, Tom Jensen of Sampson, Al and six grandchildren, Darrell Higgins, Adam Higgins, Judah Jones, Michael Higgins, Mary Higgins and Grace Jones.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at First Baptist Church.
