Joan Mildred (Haire) Peace
Obituary
Joan Mildred Haire Peace, age 77, born in Moss Point, MS and a resident of the White House Fork Community died Saturday, May 13, 2023 at SAADS Hospice in Mobile. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin David Peace of White House Fork; her children, Christopher Brian Peace and Dianna Elizabeth Peace both of White House Fork and three sisters, Molly Elaine Bossarge of Tillmans Corner, Patricia Anderson of St. Elmo, AL and Wanda Whitcomb of Juno, AK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Leslie and Mary Myrtis Short Haire; two brothers, James Haire and Gene Haire and one sister, Barbara Weaver.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Durant Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cox and Dr. Jim Burnette officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Durant Chapel Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Harold Holmes, Jim Wurst, Billy “Beaver” Paul, Mike Wade, Mo Holly and Dwayne Holly. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Simmons, Charles Entrekin and Phillip Butts.
