Jesse Rudolph Bryars

Jesse Rudolph Bryars, age 73, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and also attended First Presbyterian Church of Bay Minette. He was past Master of the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498. He worked as a plant supervisor for both Dental-EZ and Southern Aluminum for many years. He loved to deer hunt, turkey hunt and going fishing. He enjoyed watching Alabama football and softball. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Hinote Bryars of Bay Minette, AL; three daughters, Amy (Joe) Hill of Bay Minette, AL, Jessica (Larry) Witt of Silverhill, AL and Kayla Bryars of Bay Minette, AL; a brother, Alan (Stacy) Bryars; two sisters, Beverly (George) Wallace and LeeAnne (Charles) McCalley; five grandchildren, Cullen Witt, Morgan Hill, Maddie Hill, Myles Hill and Jace Witt and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Marie Bryars.

Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with Elder Jimmie Clark officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Alan Bryars, Martin “Peanut” Gibson, Lucas Hall, Joe Hill, Myles Hill and Cullen Witt. Honorary pallbearers will be George Wallace, Charles McCalley, Lester J. Hinote, Jr. and Edward Matthews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the food pantry at First Presbyterian Church of Bay Minette, P.O. Box 1508, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
