Jerry Byrd

Jerry Byrd, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1950, in Bay Minette, AL to J.C and Lovie Mae Mitchem Byrd. He was the owner of JB’s Sports and Pawn in Bay Minette, AL for 13 years.

Jerry is survived by his wife Vickie Lynn Hadley Byrd of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Mack (Stacey) Byrd of Bay Minette, AL , Lynn Byrd of Gulf Shores, AL, and Brad (Jenna) Byrd of Denver, CO; four granddaughters, Kara (Devon) Erps, Kallie (Cole) Fincher, Jayden Byrd and Monroe Byrd; one brother, Tommy (Sheena) Byrd of Opelika, AL and one sister, Sandra Walton of Bay Minette, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson Jensen Byrd and a brother, Larry Byrd.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
