Janet Marie (Huffman) Richerson

Janet Marie Huffman Richerson, age 76, born in Gallatin, MO and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her residence. She was a retired manager for ABC Stores.

She is survived by one son, Ronald W. (Valerie) Richerson of Ekron, KY; five brothers, Bob Huffman, Jack Huffman, Stan (Pat) Huffman, Willie (Cheryl) Huffman and Joe Huffman; four sisters, Joyce (Stan) Perry, Linda (David) Primm, Ann (Keith) Salyer and Tammy Huffman and six grandchildren, Kandis Brackins, Kenny Lovett, Donnie Ramsey, Britney Wray, Elizabeth Richerson and Noah Richerson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Ronald Richerson; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Richerson and two sisters, Rosemary Porter and Betty Sue Gillilan.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Richerson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Noah Richerson, Luke Wray, Kevin Brackins and Kenny Lovett.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
