James "Jimmy" Edward Powell

James Edward “Jimmy” Powell, age 59, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, December 18, 2023 at North Baldwin Infirmary.

He is survived by one brother, Robert H. “Bobby” (Sandra) Powell of Bay Minette, AL; nephew, Trevor (Lacey) Powell of Fairhope, AL; two nieces, Miranda (Mike Brown) Powell of Daphne, AL and April Prewett (Edward) Duddy of Dyas; great nephews, Hayden Graham, Brayden Powell and Michael Dunn and great niece, Emma Powell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George H. and Flois Robinson Powell and a brother, Gary Powell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Chaplain Joe Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at ARC of Baldwin County, the Emergency Room and ICU staff at North Baldwin Infirmary and to the nurses at Covenant Hospice for the care of Jimmy.
