James Clifford Rollin

James Clifford Rollin, age 69, formerly of Bay Minette, AL passed away at is residence in Midlothian, TX on July 10, 2020. James was born on May 19, 1951 in Laurel, MS to Frank McKinley and Lillie Mae Rollin.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 22 years, Shelia Arrington Rollin of Midlothian, TX; three children, Stephanie Rollin of Foley, AL, Stephen (April) Rollin of Elberta, AL and Brandy Rollin of Elberta, AL; stepdaughter, Tamara (Damond) Vaughn of North Richland Hills, TX; five grandchildren, Zachary Cooper, Ricky and Isaiah Smith all of Foley, AL, Alexys Robinson and Dylon Williams of Elberta, AL; two step grandchildren, Ashley Dubuisson of Elberta, AL and Angel Hobbs of Ruston, LA; his siblings, Frank (Linda) Rollin of Bay Minette, AL, Irene Phelps of Stapleton, AL, Glenda (Raymond) Nelson of Fairhope, AL and Jimmy (Paula) Rollin of Bay Minette, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Wayne and William “Billy” Rollin and a sister, Lillie Marie.

Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery with Reverend Danny Ray Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Frank Rollin, Jr., Shane Rollin, Lee Rollin, Jerry Rollin, Andrew Rollin and Dalton Plato. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Weaver, Bo Bryars, John Davis, Clifford Anderson, David Peak and Eugene Overstreet.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 161501, Mobile, AL 36606; St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of your choice.

Due to the COVID-19 we will be social distancing and you will be required to wear a mask.

A special thank you to Tribal Council Members, Sandy Hollinger and Charlotte McGhee for the phone calls and words of encouragement during this time. And a huge THANK YOU to all the family that has been there to support us through this journey.
