Imogene (Prine) Martin

Imogene Prine Martin, age 91, born in Seaboard, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL died Friday, January 5, 2024 at Thomas Hospital. She was a retired teacher at Faulkner State Community College.

She is survived by a son, George E. Martin, Jr. of Birmingham, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Martin, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church with Reverend Bill Price and Reverend Kisty Dixon officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Howell Jackson “Jack” Hall, Glenn Smith, Pat Kimble, Harrison Martin and Alan Nichols. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Peacock, Gene Garthwhit and Major General Mike Sumrall.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Eastern Shore Choral Society, P.O. Box 267, Fairhope, AL 36533.
