Henry Biggs Obituary

Henry Derwood Biggs, age 79, born in Lottie, AL and a resident of Stapleton, AL died Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his residence. He was a retired machine operator at International Paper Company. He was a veteran of the National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elsie Odenia Byrd Biggs of Stapleton, AL; his children, Megan Odenia (Craig) Mathews of Stapleton, AL and Wesley Derwood (Tammy) Biggs of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Charles Biggs of Pensacola, FL and Benny Biggs of Lottie, AL; one sister, Evelyn Ann Biggs Williams of Brewton, AL; granddaughter, Amber (Kelly) Gatewood and a grandson, Jacob Gatewood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Mary Evelyn Smith Biggs and a brother, John Leon Biggs.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
