Gloria Jean “Jeannie” Belaire Boyington, age 76, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her residence. She was an inspector for Brett-Robinson Realty.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Billy Wilson) Watts of White House Fork, Karen (Russell) Inman of Century, FL, Joni (Tommy Vedros) Boyington of Bay Minette, AL and Nolan (Danielle Hearn) Boyington of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Huey (Debbie) Belaire of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Linda (Glenn) Barnette of Bay Minette, AL; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Ellarine Stewart, Doli Boyington and Lupe Boyington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Purvis Boyington; a daughter, Susan Boyington; her parents, Noah Belaire, Jr. and Lilly Louise Kinmon Belaire; her second husband, Brent Breaux and a granddaughter, Kristen Lynn Boyington.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Vedros, Perry DeFee, B.K. Brown, Nicole Boyington, Timothy Kirkland and Nolan Boyington. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Stuckey, Jonathan Boyington, Billy Wilson, Russell Inman and Shawn Stuckey.
The family would like to express a special thank you to her grandson, Anthony Stuckey who was with her every step of the way, also to her daughter-in-law, Danielle Hearn for the special care she gave. Also thank you to Springhill Hospice with extra thanks to hospice nurse, Tabitha Geck.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Fretwell Tabernacle Church, P.O. Box 236, Perdido, AL 36562.
