Gloria Ann (Rider) Walker

Gloria Ann Rider Walker, age 79, born in the Hurricane Community and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, May 23, 2020 at her residence. She was a retired teacher at Loxley Elementary.

She is survived by, her children, Janice Lynn Walker of Bay Minette, AL whom was her caregiver, Sharon Kay (Tommy) Findley of St. Rose, LA and Gerald Alan (Jeanie) Walker of Crossroads; stepbrother, Kerry (Marilyn) Solomon of OK; grandchildren, Mandy Lynn (J.W. Joiner) Parker, Staci Nicole Chastang, Russell Lee Parker, Jr., Natasha Suzanne (Tamika) Van Alstine, Jacob Kendall Chastang, Justin Randall (Catherine) Quinley, Matthew Alexander (Elizabeth) Quinley, Cameron Joseph Walker, Charity Dawn Walker, Christen Alise Walker and Dustin Kane (Breanna) Findley  and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne Carol Walker; two great grandchildren and a sister.

Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Memorial Cemetery in Bromley with Reverend Mike Wade officiating.
