Gertrude Alice (Hayes) Everett

Gertrude Alice Hayes Everett, age 97, bon in Lyons Pointe, LA a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a homemaker, an avid reader, a quilter and corresponded through letter writing withy many family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Clarke of Mobile, AL, Rosemary (Wayne) Wright of Bay Minette, AL, Elizabeth (Gale) Gee of Bay Minette, AL, Donna (Rick) Hall of McComb, MS, Dewey (Kathy) Everett of Pine Grove and Angela Everett of Denham Springs, LA; one sister, Shirley Dupuis of Covington, LA; twelve grandchildren, Cathy Schwall, Melissa Clarke, Amy Wright, David Wright, Laura Needham, Nicholas Gee, Jeremy Hall, Jennifer Fenn, Miranda Keuler, Robbie Everett, Jon Schneider and Sarah Schneider; eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey V. Everett, Sr.; sisters, Ethel Henderson, Norma Henderson and Margie Hayes and two grandchildren, Tommy Clarke and Rick Clarke.

Private graveside services and burial will be held at Bay Minette Cemetery with Reverend Rick Hall officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Wright, Nick Gee, Jeremy Hall, Jon Schneider, Robbie Everett and Ryan Wright.
