Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Hunn

Gerald Wayne “Jerry” “Hunnybun” Hunn, age 73, a native and resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, July 3, 2023 at William F. Green Veterans Home. He was a retired machine operator at Scott Paper Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Kaye Davis Hunn of Lucedale, MS; four sons, Lee (Stephanie) Hunn of Mobile, AL, Jon (Tonya) Hunn of Daphne, AL, Justin (Liz) Wackenhut of Ocean Springs, MS and Kris (Toni) Hunn of Mobile, AL; seven daughters, Jerri  (Brandon) Auld of Mobile, AL, Shannon (Richard) Gilchrist of Mobile, AL, Autumn Terrell of Birmingham, AL, Nikki (Clay) Kilpatrick of Mobile, AL, Easten (John) Watson of Lucedale, MS, Dominique (Trenton) Williams of Lucedale, MS and Abbiegail (Amberley) Sheffield of Mobile, AL; twenty-nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Corbett Woodrow and Winnie Grace Barron Hunn; two brothers, James Hunn and Jack Hunn and a sister Betty Hunn.

Funerals services will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Whigham officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
