George McRee Cash

George McRee Cash, age, 84, born in Fort Deposit, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Thursday, February 13, 2025 at his son’s residence in Brewton. He was a retired salesman for Golden Flake.

He is survived by one son, Michael (Dedee Jones) Cash of Brewton, AL; two brothers, Gene Cash of Murfreesboro, TN and Odell Cash of Huntsville, AL; three sisters, Linda Cash of Brewton, AL, Becky Cash of Pensacola, FL and Joyce Erskin of Davilla, TX; two grandchildren, Michael Jared Cash, Heather Cash Newton and one great grandchild, Brantley Michael Newton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Turner Cash and five brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Revered Mike Bedford officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 17, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brantley Newton, Bo Newton, Benny McCurdy, Dayman Cash, Robert Hardy and Meki Cash.
