Frank Klasnich, Jr. age 90, a native and resident of Perdido, AL died Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was a retired cattle and egg farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Korea.
He is survived by a niece, Margaret (Tony) Summersell of Saraland, AL; a nephew, Steven (Ginger) Klasnich of Singapore; great nieces and nephews, Bert (Katie) Summersell, Jenna Summersell and Julie (Daniel) Landis and Katherine Klasnich and great great nieces and nephews, Jacob and Austin Landis, Hunter Nixon and Penelope Summersell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Hadley officiating. Burial will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tony Stewart, Glenn Stewart, Bert Summersell, Tony Summersell, Steven Klasnich and Larry Bryars. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Etheridge and Franklin King.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bryars – McGill Cemetery Fund, c/o Sharon Shivers, 21457 Hoyle Bryars Road, Perdido, AL 36562.
