Fern (Stacey) Gill

Fern Stacey Gill, age 66, born in the Rabun Community and a resident of Perdido, AL died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Thomas Hospital. She was a teacher and bus driver at Bay Minette Intermediate School.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Terry Gill of Perdido, AL; one daughter, Crystal Gail (Charlie) Smith of Pine Grove; stepchildren, Chris (Lisa) Gill of Rabun, Kevin (Maggie) Gill of Rabun, Russell Joseph Smith of Bay Minette, AL, Clifton Smith of Bay Minette, AL, Tammy Jo Smith of Rabun and Ann (Lee) Williamson of Rabun; two brothers, Fabian (Lucille) Stacey of Rabun and Fred (Vickie Crowe) Stacey of Rabun; one sister, Faye Luker of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Levi Gill, Kolby Gill, Kenncade Gill, Abagail Gill, Gabe Stump and Gracie Stump; step grandchildren, Aaron Miles Smith and Angelica Nichole Smith; great grandchildren, A.J. Smith, Jordan Smith, T.C. Smith and Camden Smith numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Bubba Rolin officiating. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Levi Gill, Kolby Gill, Will Stacey, Jarrod Long, Larry Ray Johnson and Thomas Amos.

Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
