Fay Jewell (Middleton) Johnson

Fay Jewell Middleton Johnson, age 89, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Crossroads Community died Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a retired presser at Mannor Slacks.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Ricky) Allen of Crossroads; daughter-in-law, Dianne Johnson of Crossroads; sister-in-law, Gloria Middleton of Monroeville; two grandchildren, Taylor Lee (Lance) Benson of Bay Minette, AL and Charles Michael (Wendy) Fyock of Crossroads and two great grandsons, Ryan Lucus Benson and Tanner Lane Benson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mack Johnson; her son, Tommy Mack Johnson; sisters, Flora Bell McClelland, Ethel Middleton, Verba White, Ruby Nell Stewart and Bernice Tolbert and a brother, Merton Middleton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Durant Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Durant Chapel Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Harold Holmes, Jerry Donald, Gary White, Patrick Tolbert, Dewayne Holly and Randy Quinley.
