Evie T. (Hadley) Welch

Evie T. Hadley Welch, age 98, a native and resident of Perdido, AL died Sunday, September 14, 2025 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Joe (Wilma) Welch of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Lavern Harville of Perdido, AL; seven grandchildren and host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Welch; a daughter, Bonnie Crysell; siblings, Bob Hadley, Obbie Hadley, Leemore Hadley, Seymore Hadley, Annie Dees, Allie V. Odom, Inez Nassar, Ida D. Price, Vennie Brown and Lillian Hadley; two grandsons, Joe E. Welch, Jr. and Scottie Welch; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Welch and a son-in-law, D.C. Harville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Fretwell Tabernacle Church.

Pallbearers will be Cagan, Braden, Corbin, Jonathan, Hunter, Rockey, Tony and Eric.
