Emma Jean (Woodruff) Duck

Emma Jean Duck age 79, born in Greenville, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.

She is survived by one son, Gordon (Mary) Bailey of Bay Minette, AL; two stepsons, Keith Duck of Prattville, AL and Greg Duck of Orange Beach, AL; aunt, June Turner of Spanish Fort, AL; uncle, Charles (Elsie) Bailey of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Emmett Bailey, Brandon Bailey and Nicholas Bailey and great grandchildren, Emma Darlene Bailey and Helen Blake Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Bailey, Sr.; her second husband, Fulton “Lardo” Duck; a daughter, Krishna Orr Bailey; a sister, Elizabeth Carter Schull and her parents, Ralph and Lonie Alpin Woodruff.

Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Foster, Emmett Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Nicholas Bailey, Joey Imsand and Allen Carter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of the South, 5644 Girby Road, Mobile, AL 36693.
