Elvin Edgar Brown

Elvin Edgar Brown, age 80, born in Creola, AL and a resident of the White House Fork Community died Thursday, December 29, 2022 at his residence. He was a retired equipment operator at International Paper Woodland Division.

He is survived by his wife, Hester Arlona Stephens Brown of White House Fork; his children, Phillip David (Lisa) Brown of White House Fork, Vicki Lynn Crowe of Rabun, Rhonda Kay (Slay) Cooper of Bay Minette, AL, Douglas Wesley (Stacey) Brown of White House Fork and Donald Wayne (Chelsey) Brown of White House Fork; one brother, James Brown of White House Fork; one sister, Helen Lister of Creola, AL; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman K. and Cinderella Smith Brown; two sisters, Flossie McMillian and Carrie McMillian and one brother, Fred Brown.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Crowe, Mack White, J.P. Shiver, David Shiver, Trey Duiett and Jacob Farnell
