Elizabeth (Hinton) Joiner

Elizabeth Hinton Joiner, age 93, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Stapleton, AL died Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Starr Whittington of Loxley, AL, Philip Joiner of Stapleton, AL, Theresa Alexander of Pine Grove, Joyce Powell of Bay Minette, AL , Morris Joiner of Bay Minette, AL,,  Timothy Joiner of Stapleton, AL and Terri (Brad) Reano of Oviedo, FL; stepson, Joey H. Joiner;  siblings, Janie H. Sawyer, George C. (Betty) Hinton, Eugene H. (Mary Kathryn) Hinton and Mary Elenor H. (Denson) Freeman; grandchildren, Tonya, Billy, Christy, Bradley, John, Bobby, Johnathan Byron, Danielle, Brandy, Bronson and Brittney; great grandchildren, Tasha, Libby, Aimee, D.J., Shelby, Allie, Erin, Takota, Patrick, Ashley, Daniel, Mia, Austin, Brooklyn and Haley and great great grandchildren, Chandler, McKenzie and Madeline.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Joiner; siblings, Dorothy H. Sawyer, William “Bill” R. Hinton, Jr., Philip “Bud” R. Hinton and Robert “Bob” D. Hinton; stepson, James "Ray" Joiner and a granddaughter, Holly Bass.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Stapleton United Methodist Church with Reverend Ron Hill and Reverend Tammy McMillan officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Stapleton United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Alexander, Austin Hadley, John Bass, Billy Dewrell, Bronson Reano and Bradley Reano.
