Obituary
Edward Thomas “Ed” Bell, age 66, a resident of Bay Minette, died Monday, May 15, 2023 at Thomas Hospital surrounded by his family. Ed attended Baldwin County High School. He then served a tour with the Navy, and worked 38 years with Schlumberger in the seismic field, which provided him the opportunity to travel the world.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Brown Bell; stepdaughters, Vanessa (Marshall) Chisenall and Chelsea (Zack) Mabire; his mother, Janet Bell; two sisters, June Fulmer and Leona Cale; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He also left behind a multitude of friends who will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert William “Bob: Bell; a brother, Robert Bell and a sister, Janet Bell White.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. All family and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
