Edna Cooper (Ganey) Wilson

Edna Ganey Cooper Wilson, age 99, born in Rabun and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy (Marlene) Cooper of Pensacola, FL, Gary (Tammy) Cooper of Bay Minette, AL, Rita Parker of Bay Minette, AL and Jimmie Wilson of Wisconsin; three stepsons and two stepdaughters; grandchildren, Michael Parker, Timothy Parker, Tiffany Lynn Cooper and Michael Stewart and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wallace Cooper and Robert Wilson; brothers, Buddy Ganey, Henry Ganey, Jr. and Buck Ganey and sisters, Allie Mae White and Ginger Rogers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at New Life Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.  

Pallbearers will be Timothy Parker, Thomas Godwin, Cameron Waters, Lauren Cooper, Sonny Stacey, Ray Parker, Mike Cooper and Blake Hadley.
