Edna Elizabeth (Davis) Tolbert

Edna Elizabeth Davis Tolbert, age 83, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Crossroads Community died Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Thomas Hospital. She was a retired shipping clerk at Mannor Slacks.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara (Alan) Brown of Phillipsville, Carolyn (Robert “Bo”) Hicks of Perdido, AL, Deneene Deer of Stapleton, AL and Cathy (Elson) Custis of Mayock, NC; stepson, David Earl “Buddy” (Lydia) Tolbert, Jr. of Crossroads; one brother, George Davis of Stapleton, AL; three sisters, Pauline Dovich of Chicago, Fay Scholl of Bay Minette, AL and Laverne Radford of North Carolina; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Tolbert, Sr. and a daughter, Margaret Quinley.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
