Edgar Domingo Hernandez

Edgar Domingo Hernandez, age 75, born in Manila, Philippines and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, February 21, 2025 at his residence. He was a retired deputy with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Evelina Lujan Hernandez of Bay Minette, AL; his children Jonathan (Ellie) Hernandez of Sacramento, CA, Nino Jesus Hernandez of San Jose, CA and Christine (Carl) VanWyk of Washington; two brothers Manny (Lisa) Hernandez of Las Vegas, NV and Pablo (John Korthius) Hernandez of Philippines; one sister, Elizabeth (Bill) Clark of Atlanta, GA and grandchildren, Michelle Hernandez, Kimberly Hernandez, Elija Hernandes and Logan VanWyk.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for expenses for getting Edgar back home to California.
