Doyle Hope Nash, age 96, born in Mississippi and a resident of the Crossroads Community died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his residence. He was a retired machine supervisor at Scott Paper Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II.
He is survived by his children, John (Chris) Ciesiensky of Corryton, TN, Reva Nash Ward of Bay Minette, AL, Rebecca Hope Nash (Daniel) Morris of Equality, AL, Kimberly Sarah Nash (Wayne) Perry of Silverhill, AL and Jesse Carlos Nash, II of Bay Minette, AL; nine grandchildren, Tyson (Kim) Ciesiensky, Rachel (Sam) Bailey, Bethany (Matt) Ford, Harley (Melanie) Jordan, Natalie (Sid) Smith, Veronica (Allen) Black, Harmony (Josh) Johnson, Jasmine (Patrick) Sullivan and Scarlet Nash; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Juanita Webster Nash; a daughter, Rosemarie Nash Jordan and a grandson, Van Nicholas Griffin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Durant Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Durant Chapel Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Ford, Max Ford, Jesse Jordan, Daniel Morris, Sid Smith, Will Cooper, Samuel Bailey and Connor Bailey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Durant Chapel Baptist Church, 9551 County Road 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
