Doris (Peacock) Smith

Doris Peacock Smith, age 92, born in the Gateswood Community and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, January 27, 2020 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Danny R. (Carol) Smith of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Linda D. (Frank) Rollin of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Janice Nix of Daphne, AL; five grandchildren, Andrew Rollin, Angela Hyde, Tracie Truhel, Amanda Mitchell and LeeAnne Goodman; ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Dyas Assembly of God Church with Reverend Don Sanks officiating. Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Dyas Assembly of God Church.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Rollin, Tommy Nix, Jason Peacock, Mike Nix, Ronnie Peacock and Joe Biggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Lonell Peacock, Tony Nix, Aubrey Yarbrough and Jim Sanks.
