Doris Paulette (Bryars) Bass

Doris Paulette Bryars Bass, age 74, born in Perdido, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, May 22, 2023 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Patsy Lynn Graham of Bay Minette, AL, Peggy Cook of Robertsdale, AL and Jason P. “Stump” (Hillary) Brown of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Ronnie Bryars of Perdido, AL; two sisters, Judy Welch of Bay Minette, AL and Mazie Thompson of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Matt (Kammi) Cook, Cybil Cook, Wes (Shelby) Cook, Jordan McCall, Dejah McCall, Loryn (Micah) Burton and Zack Brown and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Barnes and Syble Mona Phillips Bryars; a son, Johnny Mack Brown and siblings, Barbara Davis, Mason Bryars and Buddy Bryars.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
