Donald Wayne Welch, Sr., age 69, born in Frisco City, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, March 28, 2022 at his residence. He was a retired rig welder and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Marie Galvin Welch of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Donald Wayne (Michelle) Welch, Jr. of Lenoir City, TN, Tammy Lynn (Wes) Reed of Crossroads, Christopher Michael (Holly) Welch of Houston, TX and Gregory Thomas Welch of Austin, TX; two brothers, Jerry Welch and David Welch both of Pensacola, FL; four sisters, Janice Gulley of Frisco City, AL, Donna Rowell of Franklin, AL, Diane Brooks of Loxley, AL and Karen Welch of Daphne, AL; fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Wes and Tammy Reed, 11135 County Road 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
