Donald Ray Roberts

Donald Ray Roberts, age 78, born in Sand Mountain, AL and a resident of Stapleton, AL died Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his residence. He was a retired grocery salesman at Petrey Wholesale in Petrey, AL.

He is survived by is wife of 58 years, Dianne Wiggins Roberts of Stapleton, AL; one brother, Dennis Roberts of Stapleton, AL; one sister, Wanda Willoughby of Okeechobee, FL; nieces and nephews, Michael, Angela, Chris, Dana, Amy and Leslie; three great nieces and six great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Millard and Mary Lorene Venable Roberts.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stapleton Church of God, 13593 Church St., Stapleton, AL 36578.
