Diana (Hammond) Bean

Diana Hammond Bean, age 81, born in Raleigh, NC and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at The Haven Memory Care in Gulf Shores. She was a retired teacher for Baldwin County High School. She was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan.

She is survived by her children, Jason (Corrie) Pepperman of Gulf Shores, AL, Ward Pepperman of Fairhope, AL, John Bean of California and Aimee Bean Hayes of Loxley, AL and grandchildren, Jacob Pepperman, Ray Pepperman, Grant Pepperman, Luke Pepperman and Sean Bean.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geraldine Shaefer Hammond and her husband, Robert Bean.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Agatha Parrish with Father Joseph Chacko officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Montevallo, AL.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service at Saint Agatha Parrish.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Saint Agatha Parrish, 1001 Hand Ave., Bay Minette, AL 36507.
