Debra Elizabeth (Jones) Middleton

It is with great sadness that the family of Debra Jones Middleton announce her sudden passing on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the age of 63.

Debra was a native and lifelong resident of Bay Minette, AL.  She was a dedicated wife, first and foremost, who treasured her family, selflessly devoting her life to caring for them.  While Debra did not have biological children, she helped raise many nieces and nephews as though they were her own, sharing a bond with them like no other.  She loved her animals and flowers as much as she did taking care of others. She was a caregiver for her mother, a loving daughter, a sister and friend.   She is preceded in death by her father, Alfred Jones whom she cared for before his passing. 

Debra is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dale Middleton; mother, Luvern Jones; siblings, Brenda (Daniel) Garner, Tommy (Nancy) Jones, Ronnie (Charebi) Jones; Nieces, Rhonda (Phillip) Hadley, Cassie (Jordan) Drew, Ella Hadley, Jessica Dubose; nephews, Dylan (Olivia) Jones, Kyle Jones, Lofton Jones, Cooper Hadley, Ford Drew, Dyson Byrd, Kheyton  Byrd, Trent Spaller, Johnathan Middleton, Whitney Middleton, Jessica Middleton, Matthew Mitchell, Ben Mitchell, Jimmy Middleton, Chase Middleton, Quinn Middleton, Pam Wiggins, Carol Brooks and Michelle Byrd along with numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday September 2, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. memorial service at Norris Funeral Home with Ron and Jean Mitchell officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507.

Honorary pallbearers include Johnathan Middleton, Whitney Middleton, Jessica Middleton, Matthew Mitchell, Ben Mitchell, Jimmy Middleton, Chase Middleton, Quinn Middleton.
