Dal Buford "Buck" Flowers

Dal Buford “Buck” Flowers, age 86, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Phillipsville Community died Thursday, August 24, 2023 at his residence. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Baldwin County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Korea.

He is survived by his wife, Flora Mae Whiddon Flowers of Phillipsville; his children, Deborah Lynn (Tommy) Ganey of Crossroads, James Dal (Juanita) Flowers of Atmore, AL, Louis Dewayne (Sandra) Flowers of Phillipsville and E. Denise (Raymond) Lee of Crossroads; two brothers, Buddy Flowers and Don Flowers both of Phillipsville; two sisters, Nancy Hall of Bay Minette, AL and Pearl Moorer of Phillipsville and twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Flowers; his stepfather, S.E. Flowers and two sisters, Octiva Tolbert and Freida Trawick.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Don Roley officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
