Clifford Pernell "Stoney" Shiver

Clifford Pernell “Stoney” Shiver, age 58, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of Rabun died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his residence. He was an A/C Maintenance Repairman. He was a member of the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Boutwell Shiver of Rabun; his children, Summer Shanta Shiver of Foley, AL, Marissa Alley Milstead of Rabun, Merle Anthony Milstead, Jr. of Rabun and Triston O’Neil Maddox of Rabun; five brothers, Mark Cooper, Dennis Lloyd Carlton, Patrick McHugh, Justin Smith and James Smith; one sister, Pam Shiver and five grandchildren, Alex, Camden, Guinivere, Emerson and Easton.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charlene and Tommy Carlton; his father, Clifford D. Shiver; a brother, Tony Carlton and Louise Carlton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to a special account set up for the family at any United Bank.
