Christine "Chris" "GiGi" (McGhee) Yarbrough

Christine “Chris” “GiGi” McGhee Yarbrough, age 66, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Thursday, August 22, 2024 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She retired from Winn-Dixie after 20 years and went to work at Street’s Restaurant as a hostess where she had been working for the past 22 years.

She is survived by her children, Blake T. (Misty) Yarbrough of Perdido, AL, Robin Yarbrough (Kris) Stewart of Bratt, FL, Doug (Carla) Yarbrough of Mobile, AL; one brother, Tommy (Chantell) Cooley of Elberta, AL; one sister, Brenda (Lane) Vick of Magnolia Springs, AL; her father, Ernest R. Cooley of Magnolia Springs, AL and her grandchildren, Kole, Hunter, Maggie, Paizley, River, Jasper, Blakeleigh, Travis and Rachel.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, David Gary McGhee; her mother, Carol Perkins Cooley; her husband, Myron D. Yarbrough and two brothers, David Wayne McGhee and Royce Eugene McGhee.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends August 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Yarbrough, Kole Stewart, Gary McDonald, Chester Boutwell, Hayden McGhee and Kris Stewart.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Pilots for Christ, P.O. Bx 707, Monroeville, AL 36461.
