Chester McDonald Obituary

Chester Cleveland McDonald, age 81, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Atmore Nursing Center. He was a retired diesel mechanic at the Alabama State Docks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam.

He is survived by nephews, Joe McDonald of Saraland, AL and Jim McDonald of Panama City, FL; niece, Kathy McDonald of Mobile, AL; cousins, Kim Weatherford, Wayne McMillian, Steve McMillian, Susan Hadley and Ruth Emmons and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” McDonald and siblings, J.W. McDonald and Gladys Williams.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne McMillian officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Eliska, AL.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:30 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
