Charles "Buddy" Arthur Roley

Buddy Roley (Charles A.), age 74, born in Atmore, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL relocated to his Heavenly home on Thursday, July 27, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Velma Bailey Roley and Charlie Newton Roley and a sister, Nadine Beauchamp.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elaine Salter Roley of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Wade (Michelle) Roley of Helena, AL; one daughter, Charlotte (Brad) Roley England of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Sandra (Earl) Emmons of Bay Minette, AL; brother-in-law, Dr. Larry Beauchamp of Bay Mientte, AL; grandchildren, Luke England, Jaxson Roley, Rilyn Roley and two bonus granddaughters, Mallory and Abby; nieces, Mandy (Clint) Rountree, Kari Harbison and Sandy (Gary) Waltman and a nephew, Larry Beauchamp, Jr.

He was an avid Street Rod enthusiast and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and other family members - he was the “rock” of the family.

He was employed by Scott Paper Company for over 30 years and served as and aircraft maintenance specialist in the U.S. Air Force. He attended Faulkner University and was also a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Graveside services and burial will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Halls Fork Cemetery with Dr. Larry Beauchamp, Jr. officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jason Roley, Dewitt Roley, Donald Roley, Luke England, Larry Beauchamp, Jr. and David Wright.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 526 Brady Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
