Charles Ancil Sims, age 59, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of Perdido, AL died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary. He was a self-employed floor installer.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. Harville Sims of Perdido, AL; his children, Macaila (Bryan Wright) Sims of Perdido, AL and Triston Harville of Perdido, AL; his parents, Wilson and Ruth Sims of Rabun; one brother, Alonzo (Janice) Sims of Rabun and two sisters, Pam Richerson and Arlene (Ricky) Pfeffer all of Rabun.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonnie and Nancy Sims and William F. and Rebecca Pearl Weekley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at New Providence Baptist Church with Reverend Henry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at New Providence Baptist Cemetery.
A wake will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until service time on Friday at New Providence Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Syd Reed, Triston Harville, Jeremy Harville, Mike Morris, Steve Morris and Tommy Wayne Richerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Harville, Ricky Pfeffer, Alonzo Sims, Henry Harville, Jr. and Earl Tuberville. In memoriam James E. Morris.
